Grinds industrial knitting and sewing needles to sharpen points, using grinding wheels: Activates stone and wire-brush wheels and alternately presses needle against each rotating wheel to sharpen point. Applies emery to wire-brush wheel as needed to facilitate grinding process. Visually and tactually examines needle to ensure conformance to specifications. Records production. |
