Renovates used cars for resale at used car lot: Inspects cars for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation. Hammers out dents. Polishes scratches and retouches with enamel. Sews rips and tears in upholstery. Cleans and vacuums interiors. Washes and polishes exteriors. Replaces missing or defective small parts. Performs minor mechanical repairs and adjustments. May inspect cars for compliance with state safety regulations. |
