Job Description:

• 1) Inspects packaged tobacco products or jars of baby food to detect foreign matter, using x-ray equipment: Activates equipment and conveyor.

• 2) Observes shadows cast on fluorescent screen by package or jar passing in front of x ray which indicates presence of foreign matter, such as sticks, stems, metal, or dirt.

• 3) Removes defective packages or jars.
