Balancing Priorities with MBTI®Complete

Tom's work was becoming more demanding and less satisfying.

His achievements seemed to have hit a plateau. He couldn't please his management the way he once had, so he worked longer hours to compensate.

His increased stress and frustration at work began to affect Tom's wife and children. He spent little time with them, and even when he could make it to family events he was distracted and irritable.

After a long talk with his wife about their deteriorating family situation and his problems at work, Tom sought out a career counselor.

The counselor suggested to Tom a process to help him achieve better work-life balance. The first step was to take MBTI Complete and review the results.

Tom learned about his type preferences, the strengths he brought to his work and relationships, and areas in which he might encounter challenges.

Curious about how he could apply this new information, Tom read more about the basics of type, how type affected teams and organizations, and how type knowledge could improve his career and communication style.

With new insight gained from knowing his own type and appreciating the types of his co-workers and management, Tom was able to communicate more effectively, and he became a stronger member of his work team.

As he grew more comfortable at work, his improved communication skills also enabled him to connect more easily with his number one team: his family.
